Sit tight
Meaning: To stay where you are, to wait patiently and take no action. This does not necessarily refer to sitting, ex, to refuse to change your mind
Example: You'd better sit tight and I'll call the doctor. Just relax and sit tight. I'll be right with you. My parents tried to persuade me not to go alone, but I sat tight.
