Present for Future

Present Continuous
What are you doing on Saturday evening? I am meeting with my friend tomorrow at 5.
We can use the present continuous tense for future when we have already decided and arranged to do something. It has about meaning as Future Continuous.

Present Simple
My train departs at 05-30 and arrives at 12-00. What time does the film begin? It starts at 11.
We use the Present Simple tense for future when we talk about timetables, programmes for public transport, cinemas, courses. Or people's plans fixed like timetables.

to be going to do
She is going to watch good movie this evening. Clouds are black. It’s going to rain.
We use construction to be going to do something when we have decided to do something (but perhaps not arranged) and have intention to do it.
